What is coaching? Coaching is helping people to discover what is important in their life and how they can achieve this goal. It is asking the client specific questions that help them to determine what they want to see happen in their life. In my coaching I like to help people discover their passion and live into it to become all that God wants them to be.

How is coaching different than counseling? Counseling often looks at the past to help the client overcome hurts and barriers. Coaching looks at the present and future to move forward in a specified way.

How often should I meet with a coach? While some like to meet weekly to be more intentional, it is also fine to meet just once a month. This is usually determined by what the client can afford and the pace they want to move. Together we decide on the amount of sessions desired and the time needed in each session.

Why is coaching becoming popular? Coaching is an effective way to discover your passion and find effective ways to find the path that leads you there. It is based on the client determining what they will do and owning it with the help of the coach.

Do you have a sliding scale regarding what you charge? I do feel that with my experience and training my rates are set at a fair price, but I am willing to work with people based on their financial capability.

What is the 30 minute free introductory session? It is a time where the client can get to know me, learn more about the coaching process and see if my coaching will benefit them. This is not required but could be helpful if someone is unsure about being coached.

How do I sign up to get coaching? Simply click on the “book now” button. From there you can email your name and contact information or call or text me on the phone number that is listed.

What are the standards and ethics of coaching? As a certified coach through CoachNet (an ICF approved training program) I am bound by their standards and ethics.

Where does the coaching take place? I meet with people either through Zoom or in person. If the meeting happens on Zoom we would decide on a day and time and I would email a Zoom link to them If the meeting happens in person, since I do not have an office, I generally meet with people at a convenient coffee shop near them.
