Keeping the Marriage Strong
To build a strong marriage requires not only good communication with each other, but good communication with God.
God designed marriage for two people to come together to be one. He is the One who holds it together, while Satan tries to break it apart. Satan knows that if he can break down the marriage, he weakens the family and society as a whole. God has established the marriage to be the foundation of building a family. Strong families are forged by a healthy and committed husband and wife which give stability for the children to be loved, grow, and mature.
To build a strong marriage requires not only good communication with each other, but good communication with God. A couple that prays together will keep their relationship with God strong which will help the marriage to stay strong. Praying together helps you to remember that God is the One who keeps your love alive, as well as keeps you focused on what is important by continually seeking Him for strength, guidance, and wisdom.
There is another key to keeping a marriage strong, and that is being able to forgive one another. It is impossible to experience marriage as God designed it without being able to lavish forgiveness. Ephesians 4:32 says to forgive each other “just as God in Christ forgave you.” Failing to forgive or to ask for forgiveness breaks the unity. In marriage it is about working through the struggles, not punishing each other. Stay focused on the Lord in all of this!
Important Questions to ask about marriage (Ques. 1)
Marriage is a journey that should be enjoyed as you become one.
Why did you (or should you) choose to get married?
It is important to remember that marriage is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. It is a decision that should last for your lifetime. You need to remember that God brought you together and that it is God’s anointing on your marriage that will allow you to keep a good and healthy perspective about your marriage and keep you committed to the marriage.
In Genesis 2:20-24 God says it is not good for Adam to be alone, so He created a “partner” for Adam. Marriage is a partnership. It is important for you to see your marriage as a partnership and for the two of you to communicate and work well together. A question you might regularly ask is: Is our marriage a good partnership? If not, then ask: How can we make it a better partnership? In both Genesis 2:24 and Ephesians 5:31 God says that marriage is two becoming one.
Marriage is the coming together of two people learning how to become one. This is not always an easy or smooth transition. It takes communication, support, compromise, commitment, and an understanding of the other person. It is a journey that should be enjoyed and worked on regularly. But as it happens, you will see that “two are better than one” (see Ecclesiastes 4:9-12) and that your spouse is a great blessing for you.

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
